Arrival in Chandigarh

On arrival in Chandigarh, transfer to the hotel and get an orientation from your tour guide. After the orientation, enjoy an overnight stay in the city.

Chandigarh to Udhampur. 367 Km

Early in the morning, check-out from the hotel and start ride to Udhampur by road. Drive along National Highway 1 and admire the lush farms on both sides of the highway. On arrival in Udhampur, check-in at your lodgings and stay overnight.

Udhampur to Sonamarg 285 km

This morning, your wonderful motorcycle tour will involve driving through the Chenani-Nashri tunnel which is (10 KM approx) India’s longest tunnel. Stay overnight at hotel.

Sonamarg to Kargil. 123 km

After breakfast, ride start in the beautiful valley of sonamarg. On the way, cross Zoji la pass and enter to Dras, which is second coldest place on earth. Stop over break at Kargil War Memorial. Stay overnight in Hotel.

Kargil to Leh. 218 km (Overnight in Hotel)

The ensuing phase of this bike tour to Leh Ladakh involves riding to Fotu La mountain pass which is highest point on Srinagar-Leh Highway the town of Kargil. On the way, pay homage at the Buddhist monastery of Lamayuru, which is the highest in the region in terms of altitude. and then follow the road, Ascending to Leh. Stop over break at Magnetic Hill, Hall of Fame, Patharsahib Gurudwara. Overnight at Hotel.

Leh local sight seeing and take permit

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at your lodgings and then head out for a sightseeing tour around the town of Leh. There are a number of popular tourist attractions that you may visit, such as Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa and Jama Masjid. Later, run another round of checks on your bikes and buckle up for the section of motor bike expedition Leh that is to follow.

Leh to Nubra Valley Via Khardungla Pass. 160 km

After breakfast, you will ascend towards the world’s highest motorable road, Khardung La (5540 meters / 18380 feet). Once you reach Khardung La, the spectacular view of the Himalayan ranges will mesmerize your senses. After spending some time in Khardung La, you will ascend to Nubra Valley. En Route, visit the main Diskit Monastery and the giant statue of Maitreya Buddha, this is the tallest Buddha statue in Ladakh. Later visit the white sand dunes at Hunder where you can enjoy the Double Humped Bactrian camel ride. The rest of the evening is free for leisure activities. Overnight stay in camps.

Nubra Valley to Leh 160 KM

Rest day and local sightseeing.

Leh - Pangong Lake -120 km

Your motorbike expedition Ladakh will now get you to the picturesque Pangong Tso Lake. During the course of your journey, cross the approximately 17585-feet high Chang La mountain pass. Along the way, visit the famous Shey Palace, and Thiksey monasteries . Also remember to click snaps wherever you find a view, worth capturing forever. As you near Pangong Tso, get off your bikes and walk them to the lake. (Overnight in Hotel or Tent)

Pangong lake to Hemis 196 km. (Overnight in Hotel or Tent)

This morning, after beautiful sunrise, we ride towards Hemis Monastery. Hemis Monastery is a Tibetan Buddhist monastery of the Drukpa Lineage, located in Hemis. The annual Hemis festival honoring Padmasambhava is held here in early June. (which is held on 23rd & 24th June 2018).En Route, we can also visit Hemis National Park. Overnight in Hotel or Camp.

Hemis to Sarchu 222 km

Post breakfast, you will drive towards Sarchu. Overnight stay will be at a camp in Sarchu. You will enjoy a pretty long day riding with about 10 hours on the road. (Overnight in Hotel or Tent)

Sarchu to Manali. 223 km

Early in the morning, you will leave towards Manali and cross many small villages of Lahaul and Spiti. Reach Manali in the late afternoon. Overnight stay will be at a hotel in Manali. (Overnight in Hotel or Tent)

Manali to Chandigarh. 307 km

We will leave Manali in the morning after Breakfast. We will take the road towards Chandigarh from here, via Bilaspur, Kulu valley & Mandi. By evening we will reach Chandigarh. On arrival on Chandigarh stay and relax in Hotel. This evening a bid farewell to your Riding Lovers Motorcycle expedition 2018.

Payment Policy

  • 30% - Deposit per person required when online booking with RL as advance money to ensure that you’re joining one of our motorbike tours.
  • Balance payment is to be made 25 days prior to the date of start of services. Any booking made within 25 working days of the date of services would be considered to be a late booking and for same the full and final payment is required to be made at the time of booking itself.

Cancellation Policy

In case of cancellation of tour/travel services due to any avoidable/unavoidable reason/s we must be informed in writing. Cancellation charges would be effective from the date we receive letter in writing and cancellation charges would be as follows

  • 60 days & prior to arrival - 10% of the tour/service cost.
  • 59 days to 30 days prior to arrival - 20% of the tour/service cost.
  • 29 days to 15 days prior to arrival - 30% of the tour/service cost.
  • 14 day and less prior to arrival or no show – NO REFUND.
  • No refund if cancelled less than 15 days and No refunds given if a person/s leave a tour en-route.
